Abstract
Oppfinnelsen angår generelt underjordiske formasjoner og nærmere bestemt underjordiske borevæsker som kan være egnet til å redusere produksjon av vann fra en del av en underjordisk formasjon og/eller stabilisering av en ukonsolidert del av en underjordisk formasjon under boring. I noen utførelsesformer anviser oppfinnelsen en framgangsmåte for å redusere flyten av vann fra en del av en underjordisk formasjon ved å kontakte den delen av den underjordiske formasjonen med en organoaluminium-forbindelse med evne til å danne et reaksjonsprodukt i nærvær av vann. Oppfinnelsen omfatter også en framgangsmåte for boring av et brønnhull i en underjordisk formasjon, framgangsmåte for å fremme stabiliteten av en ukonsolidert del av en underjordisk formasjon, framgangsmåte for stabilisering av en ukonsolidert del av en underjordisk formasjon og borevæsker.
