Abstract

Teknikker for kontroll av overføringer i trådløse kommunikasjonsnett har flere aspekter, blant annet slik kontroll eller styring av et maskenett, idet dette oppnås ved å la aksesspunkter eller stasjoner i dette nett få en rang. I nettet kan blant annet rangen av en første stasjon bestemmes, og deretter kan en annen stasjon med lavere rang i samme nett identifiseres. Minst én overføringsparameter for stasjonen eller stasjonene med lavere rang kan da settes av den første stasjon. I et annet aspekt kan stasjonen tildeles forskjellige overføringsparameterverdier for å oppnå hver stasjons datakrav. Minst én slik verdi kan velges for hver stasjon, basert på rangen, krav til tjenestekvalitet QOS, hvor stor trafikk det er og/eller den datarate som kan oppnås for den aktuelle stasjon. Parameterverdien kan sendes til stasjonen (feks. via en melding med spørsmål og svar).
