Abstract
Det er beskrevet et elektrode for bruk i en brenselcelle, som består av et porøst plastmaterial, et ledende lag og et katalysatorlag, hvor substratet er hydrofilt. Fortrinnsvis har substratet en vekevirkende rate overfor vann på ikke mindre enn 40 mm pr. 600 sek. En sådan elektrode kan brukes i en brenselcelle som har et elektrolyttkammer (8) avgrenset mellom to motstående elektroder (11, 12), idet elektrodene har katalysatorlag (5) som vender bort fra elektrolytten i kontakt med respektive gasskamre (7, 9). Under drift holdes elektrolytten fortrinnsvis på et negativt trykknivå.
