Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for markant inhibering av generering av mykotoksin fra sopp som ville gi alvorlig innvirkning for helsen til mennesker og dyr, og en relevant mykotoksingenereringsinhibitor. Innholdet av mykotoksin, slik som deoksynivalenol (DON) i avling etter innhøsting, kan reduseres uten korrelasjon med effektiviteten av kontroll av sopp ved spraying av et pestisid inneholdende som aktiv bestanddel en benzimidazolpestisidforbindelse, slik som tiofanat-metyl, over en spiselig plante, slik som hvete eller lignende. Effekten av pestisidet kan forsterkes ved anvendelse av en sterolbiosynteseinhibitor (SBI-middel), slik som tebukonazol, sammen med benzimidazolpestisidforbindelsen.
