En anordning for testing av et integrert reguleringssystem (1) hvori det integrerte reguleringssystemet (1) er innrettet forregulering av et borefartøy (2), hvor borefartøyet (2) er innrettet for boreoperasjoner, hvor det integrerte reguleringssystemet (1) omfatter. et borereguleringssystem DCS (3) for regulering av et boresystem (7)hvor borereguleringssystemet (3) er innrettet til å motta sensorsignaler (31) vedrørende boreoperasj onene og videre til å forsyne pådrag (33) til boresystemet (7) for å utføre de ønskete boreoperasjonene,hvor borereguleringssystemet (3) er innrettet til å styre ett eller flere boreoperasjoner og omfatter ett eller reguleringsundersystemer,hvor anordningen er innrettet for testing av feil i det integrerte reguleringssystemet (1) som skyldes svikt i ett eller flere reguleringsundersystemer i det integrerte reguleringssystemet (1) eller fra svikt i samvirket mellom reguleringsundersystemene i det integrerte reguleringssystemet (1) eller fra en kombinasjon derav.
