Abstract

LNG-kulde anvendes i flere prosesser i et kombinert energiverk for å øke avgitt effekt. Særlig foretrukne energikonfigurasjoner integrerer et kombinert energiverk med en regassifiseringsoperasjon, der LNG-kulden i et første trinn gir kjøling i en åpen eller lukket energiprosess. Fortrinnsvis fordampes en betydelig del av LNGen i det første trinn. l et andre trinn gir LNG-kulden kjøling for et varmeoverføringsmedium som anvendes til å gi kjøling for kjølevannet til en dampenergiturbin og for en luftinnløpskjøler i en forbrenningsturbin i energiverket.
