Abstract
Den foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av en stivelsesbasert blanding, karakterisert ved at den omfatter: (a) blanding av et stivelsessubstrat med natriumperborat; (b) vann tilsettes til blandingen fra trinn (a) for å danne en slurry; og (c) slurryen fra trinn (b) omdannes til pasta, forutsatt at fremgangsmåten ikke mellom trinnene (b) og (c) inkluderer trinnet med å tilsette en effektiv mengde av hydrolyttisk enzym til slurryen. Oppfinnelsen vedrører videre stivelsesbaserte blandinger fremstilt i samsvar med den nevnte fremgangsmåte, videre papirlimings- og/eller belegningsblandinger omfattende nevnte stivelsesbaserte blandinger og papirprodukter behandlet med nevnte limings- og/eller belegningsblandinger.
