Abstract

Det beskrives en fremgangsmåte og en apparatur for kontinuerlig 'a kontrollere denitrifisering ved avvanns-rensing med variabel nitrogenbelastning i et renseanlegg omfattende minst ett denitrifiseringstrinn (14). Metoden omfatter trinnene: a) å tilveiebringe overskuddsslam; b) å behandle overskuddsslammet i henhold til på forhånd fastlagte driftsparametere, c) separering av det behandlede overskuddsslam i en organisk andel og en uorganisk andel, d) måling av Er-verdier for oppløst organisk karbon (dissolved organic carbon DOC) i den organiske andel, e) tilbakeføring av den organiske andel til et av denitrifiseringstrinnene, f) sammenligning av Er-verdier med på forhånd gitte Skal-verdier for DOC andeler og, ved differanse mellom Er- og Skal-verdier, å fastlegge endrede driftsparametere for behandling av overskuddsslammet i trinn b), og g) å gjenta trinnene a) til f).
