Det er beskrevet en fremgangsmåte for reduksjon av dioksininnholdet av en sammensetning som inneholder minst en dioksinholdig råleire eller en dioksinholdig blekejord, som er kjennetegnet ved at sammensetningen oppvarmes til en temperatur i området fra ca. 125°C til 650°C.
