Abstract
Optisk akselerometer som omfatter en plate og minst en optisk fiber som er festet til en side av platen, slik at avbøyning av platen endrer en lengde av den optiske fiberen. Innretning for å føle lengdeendringen av den optiske fiberen er funksjonelt koplet til den minst ene fiberen. Et seismisk sensorsystem omfatter minst to akselerometere som er orientert slik at deres følsomme akser er idet minste delvis rettet irm langs gjensidig ortogonale retninger. Hvert akselerometer omfatter en plate og minst en optisk fiber som er festet til en side av platen, slik at avbøyning av platen endrer en lengde av den minst ene optiske fiberen.
