Abstract
Det beskrives en bærbar innretning for å tilveiebringe terapeutiske, elektriske signaler og/eller elektromagnetiske felt til en pasients kne for behandling av osteoartritt og andre sykdommer, defekter og skader. Innretningen omfatter en signalgenerator som genererer elektriske compoundsignaler som inkluderer en 60 kHz sinusbølge med en topp-til-topp spenning på rundt 4,6 til 7,6 V, og et 100 % arbeidssyklussignal som genereres i rundt 30 minutter og et 50 % arbeidssyklussignal som genereres i rundt I time etter 100 % arbeidssyklussignal.
