Abstract
Utførelser av foreliggende oppfirmelse tilveiebringer fremgangsmåter for behandling av nikkel- titanlegeringer som har fra mer erm 50 og opptil 55 atom-% nikkel, for derved å tilveiebringe en ønsket austenittisk omdanningstemperatur og/eller et austenittisk omdanningstemperaturområde. I en utførelse irmbefatter fremgangsmåten valg av en ønsket austenittisk omdanningstemperatur og termisk behandling av nikkel-titanlegeringen for endring av en mengde av nikkel i fast løsning i en TiNi-fase av legeringen, slik at det nås en stabil austenittisk omdanningstemperatur, idet den stabile austenittiske omdanningstemperatur i hovedsaken er lik den ønskede austenittiske omdarmingstemperatur.
