Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører en metallocenforbindelse, et katalysatorsystem, en polymerisasjonsprosess som anvender katalysatorsystemet og polymerer fremstilt ved denne. Katalysatorsystemet er resultatet av en kombinasjon av broede indenyl metallocener some er beskrevet ved generell formel 1 og en organoaluminium eller bor perfluorert kokatalysator, hvor M er et overgangsmetall fra gruppe 4 i det periodiske system, Q er en divalent substituent og X1 og X2 er monovalente, anioniske ligander. Polyolefin-kopolymerene fremstilt med katalysatorene i henhold til oppfinnelsen kan ha fra bred til small bimodal til bred bimodal molekylvektsfordeling og smelteindekser fra ca. 0 til høyere enn 10, uten behov for molekylvektsregulatorer avhengig av passende valg av indenylsubstituenten, antallet substituenter (enkel eller begge indenene er substituert) og typen stereoisomer form som brukes: ren (racemisk eller meso) eller blandinger derav.
