Abstract

Friksjonsbevegelsessveising (FSW)-fremgangsmåte og apparat er tilveiebrakt hvor kraften som trengs for FSW blir redusert og et kompakt FSW-verktøy kan brukes. I FSW-fremgangsmåten omfattende trinnene med overlappende metallelementer på hverandre og innsettelse av en dreiende probe av et FSW-verktøy i en kontaktdel av metallelementene for kontakt med proben, slik at kontaktdelen blir myknet av friksjonsvarme og beveget av proben og metallelementene blir sveiset sammen, blir en del av metallelementene omsluttende proben dannet av vanneanordningene.
