Abstract
Denne oppfinnelsen gjelder en prosess og et apparatur for produksjon av termisk og elektrisk energi i en massefabrikk, mer bestemt en sulfatmassefabrikk, i henhold til hvilken prosess avfallsvæske fra cellulosemassekokevæsken blir konsentrert, og denne konsentrerte væsken brennes i gjenvinningskjelen i nærvær av biogene brennstoff, i hvilket tilfelle den termiske energien gjenvinnes fra avgassene fra forbrenningen, og denne termiske energi blir hvis ønskelig konvertert til elektrisk energi. I henhold til oppfinnelsen, er det biogene brennstoffet som anvendes trebark eller tilsvarende avfallstre, som tørkes til et fuktighetsinnhold under 30 %, og blir deretter gassifisert til en brenngass, som mates inn i gjenvinningskjelen. Prosessen i henhold til oppfinnelsen gjør anskaffelse av separat barkkjel i masseanlegg fullstendig unødvendig, noe som vesentlig senker investeringskostnadene. Prosessen forenkler apparaturen, dens drift og vedlikehold, og forbedrer energieffektiviteten.
