Abstract

Oppfinnelsen angår en anordning for måling av rotasjonshastigheten og rotasjonsretningen til et objekt (3) som anordningen er plassert i nærheten av. Den omfatter: - en magnetisk deteksjonsanordning (2) som leverer som reaksjon på en rotasjon av objektet (3) som genererer en magnetfeltvariasjon, signaler som er representative for dens rotasjonshastighet og rotasjonsretning, - en leder (4) anordnet for å være tilkoplet en kraftkilde for å levere strøm til i det minste den magnetiske deteksjonsanordningen (2), - strømmottakeranordninger (6) plassert mellom den magnetiske deteksjonsanordningen (2) og lederen (4) som frembringer, fra signaler som kommer fra den magnetiske deteksjonsanordningen (2), en modulasjon av den strømmen (lout) som flyter i lederen (4), hvor den modulerte strømmen (lout) avspeiler både rotasjonshastigheten og rotasjonsretningen til objektet (3). Anvendelse: spesielt i oljeindustrien.
