Abstract
Et vindkraftanlegg med en generator med stator og rotor i et maskinhus som er anordnet på toppen av vindkraftanleggets tårn, hvor statoren disponerer over en bærekonstruksjon bestående av flere bærearmer. Generatoren er her en ringgenerator. Slike vindkraftanlegg er kjente og benyttes allerede i stort antall. Samtidig går utviklingen av vindkraftanlegg i dag enda lenger i retning av en høyere energiytelse. Dette fører regelmessig til en økning av dimensjonene på de enkelte komponenter (særlig disses bærearmer) og dermed av disses masse. Det er derfor et formål med oppfinnelsen å tilveiebringe et vindkraftanlegg som har reduserte byggedelvekter og reduserte støy emisjoner. Ringgeneratoren ifølge oppfinnelsen består av en stator og en rotor, hvor statoren har en støttekonstruksjon som understøtter statorringen og statorviklingen. Oppfinnelsen er kjennetegnet ved at støttekonstruksjonen er dannet av flere støttearmer som består av en stavkonstruksjon.
