Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent relative slip of an armature of electric rotary machine against shock torque by a method wherein square grooves are provided in respective segment parts of the armature core, cotter keys are driven therein to form the segments in a ring type, and the inside cirumference of the core is fixed to plural arms by shrinkage fit. CONSTITUTION:After the keys 15 are inserted in the square grooves provided in the segments 13, the cotters 16 are driven in the grooves to form the segments 13 in a ring type, and to constitute the armature core 4. The inside circumference of the armature core 4 is fixed by shringkage fit to locking bases of the arms 17 welded radially to a drum shaft 3 and is tightened.
