Abstract

En LCD-anordning er slik konstruert at en polarisator (5) og en reflektiv polarisator (7) er satt sammen i nevnte rekkefølge på baksiden av et LCD-panel (1) ved å bruke et diffunderende, adhesivt material (6). Lys overført gjennom polarisatoren fra forsiden av LCD-anordningen spres av det diffunderende, adhesive material for å falle inn på den reflektive polarisator. I dette tilfelle er den geometriske vinkel mellom overføringsaksen for polarisatoren og den for den reflektive polarisator bragt til å ligge mellom 0 og 90° med unntak for 0°.
