Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for fremstillingen av en katalysator for karbonmonoksidhydrogenering, spesielt Fischer-Tropsch-reaksjoner; katalysatorsammensetningene, anvendelse av katalysatorsammensetningene for å utføre slike reaksjoner. Fremgangsmåten for fremstilling av katalysatoren omfatter å impregnere et pulver eller partikulære ildfaste uorganiske oksidfaststoffer, foretrukket silika med (a) en løselig forbindelse eller et salt av et katalytisk metall i jern-gruppen, foretrukket kobolt og (b) en løselig forbindelse av et gruppe VII edelmetall, foretrukket platina, passende ved sekvensiell kontakt av faststoffene med en løsning av (a) og en løsning av (b) ved sekvensiell kontakt av faststoffene med en løsning av (b) og en løsning av (a) eller ved kontakt med en løsning som inneholder både (a) og (b). De metallimpregnerte faststoffene eller det partikulære faststofforstadiematerialet blir etter impregnering med gruppe VIII edelmetallet vasket med en hydrokarbylammonium-hydroksid- eller ammoniumhydroksidløsning, materialet blir formet, tørket og kalsinert, og metallkomponenetene derav blir deretter redusert. Katalysatoren dannet slik er ganske overraskende mer aktiv og selektiv for å utføre en karbon-monoksidhydrogeneringsreaksjon for å produsere hydrokarbon-vokser med lavere gassproduksjon.
