Abstract

Polyolefinledningsisolering i hydrokarbonsmørefettfylt telekommunikasjonskabel som deretter eksponeres i en utendørs koplingsboks er spesielt sårbar overfor de negative virkningene av varme, oksygen og fuktighet. Kombinasjonen av en eller flere primære, fenoliske antioksidanter valgt fra N,N'-heksan-l ,6-diylbis-(3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroksyfenylpropionamid), tris(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroksybenzyl) isocyanurat og tris(2-(3,5-di-tert-buty 1-4-hydrroksyhydrocinnamoyloksy)ety 1) isocyanurat sammen med en eller flere alkylhydroksylfenylalkanoyl hydrazinmetalldeaktivatorer er meget effektiv for å tilveiebringe oksidativ stabilitet for polyolefinledningsisolering under disse betingelsene.
