Description
Oppfinnelsen vedrører kvaternære, oksalkylerte polykondensater, fremgangsmåte til deres fremstilling, og samt deres anvendelse som korrosjonsinhibitorer, og demulgatorer for råolj eemulsj oner.
Ved råoljetransport er korrosjon av transportinnretninger, rørledninger og oppberedningsanlegg et problem som stadig øker over tidsrommet for utnyttelse av et råoljefelt. Fra et nyåpnet råoljefelt i begynnelsesfasen befordres omtrent utelukkende ren råolje, men vanninnholdet av den befordrede råolje øker etter en bestemt tid. Råoljen inneholder korrosivt virkende bestanddeler som elektrolytter, svovel-hydrogen og karbondioksyd. Mens imidlertid den i begynnel-sesf asen transporterte renere råolje knapt fører til korrosjonsproblemer, øker disse sterkt med økende vann-innhold. Fra råoljen må vannet, som er fordelt emulsjons-aktig deri, fraskilles best mulig før videretransport gjennom ledninger, tankvogner eller skip. For dette formål settes til den vannholdige råolje såkalte demulgatorer eller emulsjonsspaltere. Disse stoffer virker riktignok selv ikke korroderende, imidlertid befordrer de befuktingen i anlegget,
og fremmer således korrosjonen indirekte.
Man har allerede forsøkt å unngå denne ulempe ved tilsetning
av egnede korrosjonsinhibitorer. Ved siden av kostfaktoren som er betinget ved anvendelse av slike inhibitorer, har de fleste av disse produkter den ulempe at de selv virker emulgerende eller emulsjonsstabiliserende, hvilket bare kan utlignes ved en økning av den for den optimale adskillelse av vann nødvendige emulsjonsspaltermengde. Man har allerede anvendt kationiske forbindelser som ved siden av deres virkning som korrosjonsinhibitorer samtidig også har gode demulgerende egenskaper. Slike forbindelser er eksempelvis kjent fra DE-AS 22 38 995 eller fra DE-OS 31 36 298. De viser delvis gode demulgeringsvirkninger, men kommer
imidlertid ikke opp mot den høyeffektive ikke-ioniske demulgator. De har i stor målestokk ikke kunnet slå igjennom
alene. Bare i noen oljefelt har kombinasjonen med ikke-ioniske demulgatorer ført til gode resultater ved rå-ol jedemulgering og korrosjonsinhibering, fordi her fremkom synergistiske effekter ved demulgeringen. Det består imidlertid videre et behov for demulgatorer, som selv virker korrosjonsinhiberende.
For de nevnte formål stiller foreliggende oppfinnelse forbedrede midler til disposisjon.
Foreliggende oppfinnelse tilveiebringer kvaternære oksyalkylerte polykondensater, inneholdende et oksalkylert primært fettamin og en dikarboksylsyre som forestringskomponenter. Polykondensatene er kjennetegnet ved den generelle formelen

I foretrukkede utførelsesformer av oppfinnelsen antar definisjonene i formel I følgende betydning: R<1> er en alkylrest på 12 til 18 C-atomer, R<2> betyr H, og a og b er like eller forskjellige, og er helt eller brutte tall fra 1 til 8, R<3> er resten av et blokkblandingspolymerisat bestående av minst en blokk av etylenoksydenheter og minst en blokk av propylenoksydenheter, idet det samlede antall av etylenoksydenheter er et helt eller brutt tall fra 15 til 35, det samlede antall av propylenoksydenheter er et helt eller brutt tall fra 20 til 40, og summen av begge utgjør maksimalt 60,
R<6> er H, og n er et helt tall kan anta verdiene fra 2 til 20. Tallene a, b, c og d er middelsverdier.
Foreliggende oppfinnelse tilveiebringer videre en fremgangsmåte til fremstilling av kvaternære oksalkylerte polykondesater med formel I, hvor et oksalkylert primært fettamin med formelen
hvor R<1>, R<2>, a og b har den under formel I angitte betydning, forestres under polykondensasjpn med en dikarboksylsyre med formel hvor R<5> har den under formel I angitte betydningen. Fremgangsmåten er kjennetegnet ved at en diolforbindelse med formel
molforholdet mellom det oksalkylerte primære fettaminet og diolforbindelsen utgjør 1:3 til 3:1 og molforholdet mellom summen av det oksalkylerte primære fettaminet pluss diolforbindelsen og dikarboksylsyren utgjør 0,8:1 til 1:0,8, deretter omsettes det dannede reaksjonsproduktet på kjent måte med etylenoksyd eller propylenoksyd i nærvær av karboksylsyre med 2 til 6 C-atomer, en hydroksykarboksylsyre md 2 til 6 C-atomer og 1 til 3 OH-grupper, benzosyre, salicylsyre eller fosforsyre.
De som utgangsforbindelser med formel II tjenende oksalkylerte primære fettaminer fåes etter kjente fremgangsmåter for oksalkylering av primære fettaminer. En oversikt over metodene til fremstilling av denne velkjente forbindel-sesklasse gis i Schonfeld, "Surface Active Ethylenoxide Adducts", Wissenschaftliche Verlagsgesellschaft, Stuttgart, 1976, side 70 til 73. De oksalkylerte produkter kan ha enheter av propylenoksyd, fortrinnsvis imidlertid slike av etylenoksyd eller også i kjeder av begge enheter, idet i sistnevnte tilfeller de to forskjellige enheter er anordnet i blokker.
Foretrukkede primære aminer, som kan oksalkyleres til utgangsforbindelser med formel II er de teknisk disponerbare produkter stearylamin eller kokosamin. Det er imidlertid ifølge oppfinnelsen likeså godt mulig å anvende andre monoaminer med mer eller mindre bred alkylkjedefordeling eller også aminer med enhetlige kjeder. Det kan også anvendes fettaminer enkeltvis eller i blanding, hvis kjeder inneholder en eller flere dobbeltbindinger, som eksempelvis restene av olje-, elaidin-, linol- eller linolensyre.
Slike oksalkylerte fettaminer er en nitrogenholdig, forester-bar diolkomponent.
I blanding dermed anvendes en ytterligere diolforbindelse som ikke inneholder nitrogen. Denne diol med formel HO-R<3->OH, hvor R<3> betyr en alkylenrest med formel -(CH2)X~°9 hvor x er et helt tall fra 1 til 6, representeres eksempelvis med butan-1,4-diol eller heksan-1,6-diol, ved polyetylenglykoler eller polypropylenglykoler eller ved blandingspolymerisater av etylen- og propylenoksyd, dvs. R<3> er en rest med formel
hvori R<4> betyr H eller CH3, og c betyr et helt eller brutt tall fra 2 til 80, R<4> kan følgelig også innen kjeden anta betydningen av H og CH3, dvs. resten R<3> inneholder etylenoksyd-og propylenoksydenheter. Disse kan anordnes statis-tisk. Fortrinnsvis dreier det seg imidlertid om rester av blokkpolymerisater bestående av minst en blokk av etylenoksydenheter og minst en blokk av propylenoksydenheter, idet det samlede antall av etylenoksydenheter er et helt eller brutt tall fra 15 til 35, det samlede antall av propylenoksydenheter er et helt eller brutt tall fra 20 til 40 og summen av begge er maksimalt 60.
Spesielt foretrukket er blokkpolymerisater hvori til en propylenoksydblokk på begge sider er bundet etylenoksyd-blokker, idet det samlede antall av enheter som er angitt ovenfor gjelder.
Begge diolkomponentene, med formel II og med formel III, forestres med en dikarboksylsyre med formel IV.
Til forestring egnede dikarboksylsyrer er alifatiske dikarboksylsyre med C^- til C8-alkylengrupper som malonsyre, ravsyre, glutarsyre, adipinsyre, sebacinsyre eller alifatiske dikarboksylsyrer, som er substituert med 1 til 2 OH-grupper, som eplesyre, tartronsyre, vinsyre samt videre også fumarsyre eller maleinsyre. Spesielt egnet er de alifatiske dikarboksylsyrer med 4 til 8 C-atomer i alkylenresten, altså homologe rekke av adipin- til sebacinsyre. Ved forestringsreaksjonen kan det også anvendes derivater av slike karboksylsyrer, spesielt deres estere og syrehalogenider.
Den under polykondensasjonen forløpende forestring av forbindelsene med formel II og II, foregår etter kjente metoder med en dikarboksylsyre med formel IV i høyerekokende inert oppløsløsningsmiddel som toluen eller xylen, eller fortrinnsvis uten oppløsningsmidler i smelte, og under avdekning med en beskyttelsesgass. Ved forestring i et oppløsningsmiddel velger man som reaksjonstemperatur hensiktsmessig tilbakeløpstemperaturen for reaksjonsblandingen, og fjerner det dannede reaksjonsvann ved azeotrop destillering. Ved forestring i stoff avdestilleres reak-sjonsvannet direkte fra reaksjonsblandingen. Reaksjonstempe-raturene ligger her ved 140 til 220<*>C, fortrinnsvis ved 150 til 180<*>C. Til aksellering av reaksjonen anvender man en sur katalysator som eksempelvis p-toluensulfonsyre eller hypofosforsyrling. Reaksjonens fullstendighet kontrolleres ved bestemmelse av amin- og syretall.
Den analytiske bestemmelse av den midlere polykondensa-sjonsgrad av de dannede produkter og dermed de midlere molmasser kan foregå kromatografisk ved HPLC eller HPSEC.
Kvaterniseringsreaksjonen gjennomføres med etylen- eller propylenoksyd, fortrinnsvis med etylenoksyd ved en temperatur fra 75 til 85°C i en egnet røreautoklav, idet et maksimalt reaksjonstrykk på 3 bar hensiktsmessig ikke overskrides. Derved omsettes for saltdannelsen med en ekvivalent mengde (tilsvarende tallet av N-atomer) av en slik karboksylsyre eller mineralsyre, som ligger til grunn for de ovenfor definerte anioner A~. Karboksylsyrer er eksempelvis eddiksyre, propionsyre eller slike som eventuelt også har 1 til 3 hydroksygrupper som glykolsyre og melkesyre. Karbok-sylsyren kan også være en eventuelt OH-substituert di- eller trikarboksylsyre som ravsyre, malon-, malein-, fumar-, eple-, vin- eller sitronsyre, eller også benzosyre eller salicylsyre. Endelig kommer det som mineralsyre i betraktning fosforsyre. Foretrukket er melkesyre, vinsyre og fosforsyre. Kvaterniseringsgraden fastslås ved to-fasetitrering av det kvaternære produkt med formel I med natriumdodecylsulfat ved pH 1 til 2, resp. pH 10.
Produktene ifølge oppfinnelsen er spesielt i demulgerings-virkningen overlegne de vanlige kationiske demulgatorer. I
tabellene II til IV sammenlignes de med de vanlige kationiske demulgatorer ifølge DE-AS 22 38 995 og viser en entydig bedre spaltevirkning. Sammenligningseksempelet Z er et kvaternært produkt av 2 mol stearylamin, kondensert med etylenoksyd (inneholdende 10 enheter) og p-xylylendiklorid. Tabell V viser bedre korrosjonsvirkning av forbindelsen ifølge oppfinnelsen i forhold til det likeartede vanlige sammen-ligningseksempel Z.
Oppfinnelsen skal forklares nærmere ved hjelp av noen eksempler.
Eksempel 1
a) Til fremstilling av et polykondensasjonsprodukt av adipinsyre, heksan-1,6-diol og et stearylamin, som er
kondensert med 15 mol etylenoksyd.
I en 1-liters reaksjonskolbe utstyrt med vannutskiller, gassinnføringsrør og oppvarming, kondenseres 451 g (0,5 mol) av et stearylamin med 15 mol etylenoksyd, 59,1 g (0,5 mol) heksan-1,6-diol, 100,5 g (0,85 mol) adipinsyre, og 1,5 g 50 vekt-% hypofosforsyre, bringes under nitrogenatmosfære til 160°C, og under kontinuerlig vannutskillelse fortsettes forestringsreaksjonen ved denne temperatur.
Etter 20 timers reaksjonstid fastslås etter bestemmelse av syre- og amintall en praktisk talt fullstendig kondensa-sjonsomsetning. b) Kvaternisering av det dannede polykondensat med karboksylsyre og alkylenoksyd.
301 g (0,25 mol, beregnet på den tilbakevendende enhet) av det ifølge eksempel la oppnådde polykondensat, nøytraliseres i nærvær av 18 g (1 mol) vann og 2 0 g isobutanol med 31 g (0,25 mol), 70 vekt-% melkesyre og kvaterniseres med 55,1 g (1,25 mol) etylenoksyd. Reaksjonen er, ved en temperatur på 80 til 85'C og et maksimalt trykk på 2,6 bar, avsluttet i løpet av 12 timer. Det fremkom en ved værelsestemperatur klar væske. Kvaterniseringsgraden av kvaternære polyter-kondensasjonsprodukter bestemmes fra forholdet av den sure resp. alkaliske tofase-titrering med natriumdodecylsulfat og utgjør 93%.
Under de i eksempel 1 omtalte reaksjonsbetingelser,: bringes videre i følgende tabell I, eksempel 2 til 35, angitte forbindelser med formel I til omsetning, idet de angitte kvaterniseringsgrader fåes.

Inhibitorvirkning for korrosjon.
Inhibitorvirkningen av noen av forbindelsene ifølge oppfinnelsen bestemmes ved vektstapet av kuponger av karbonstål med 20 cm 2 overflate. Disse dyppes 6 timer i vann med 20 % natrium-klorid, og 60°C. Gjennom den stadige omrørte oppløsning perler under forsøksvarigheten en karbondioksydstrøm. Inhi-beringen angis i %, idet blindverdien uten inhibitor som referansestørrelse er 0 % (dette tilsvarer 100 % vekttap).

Kvarternære oksalkylerte polykondensater ifølge krav 1 og 2, karakterisert ved at R<2> betyr H, og a og b er like eller forskjellige og betyr et helt eller brutt tall fra 1 til 8.

karakterisert ved at R<3> betyr resten av et blokkblandingspolymerisat bestående av minst en blokk av etylenoksydenheter og minst en blokk av propylenoksydenheter, idet det samlede antall av etylenoksydenheter er et helt tall eller et brutt tall fra 15 til 35, det samlede antall propylenoksydenheter er et helt eller brutt tall fra 20 til 40, og summen av begge utgjør maksimalt 60.

Fremgangsmåte til fremstilling av kvaternære oksalkylerte polykondensater med formel I ifølge krav 1, hvor et oksalkylert primært fettamin med formel
hvor R<1>, R<2>, a og b har den under formel I angitte betydning, forestres under polykondensasjon med en dikarboksylsyre med formelen
hvor R<5> har den under formel I angitte betydning, karakterisert ved at en diolforbindelse med formel
hvor R<3> har den under formel I angitte betydning forestres med den nevnte dikarboksylsyren sammen med det nevnte oksalkylerte primære fettaminet, idet molforholdet mellom det oksalkylerte primære fettaminet og diolforbindelsen utgjør 1:3 til 3:1 og molforholdet mellom summen av det oksalkylerte primære fettaminet pluss diolforbindelsen og dikarboksylsyren utgjør 0,8:1 til 1:0,8, deretter omsettes det dannede reaksjonsproduktet på kjent måte med etylenoksyd eller propylenoksyd i nærvær av karboksylsyre med 2 til 6 C-atomer, en hydroksykarboksylsyre md 2 til 6 C-atomer og 1 til 3 OH-grupper, benzosyre, salicylsyre eller fosforsyre.

Anvendelse av forbindelsen ifølge krav 1 som demulgator for spaltning av råoljeemulsjoner og som korrosjonsinhibitor i anlegg for jordgass- og råoljetransport og -opparbeidelse.
