Description

Bimetallelement med oppvarmingslegeme.
Oppfinnelsen vedrorer et bimetallelement med et oppvarmingslegeme som er påfort bimetallet med et mellomliggende isolasjonssjikt klebet på bimetallet.
Det er kjent bimetallelementer, ved hvilke isolasjonssjiktet består av glass eller emalje som er påsmeltet den bimetallkomponent som har den storste utvidelseskoeffisient. Deretter påsmeltes en opp-varmingsfolie på isolasjonssjiktet. Dette kjente forslag kan bare virkeliggjøres når glasset eller emaljen har den samme varmeutvidel-seskoeffisient som metallsjiktet, fordi isolasjonssjiktet ellers vil sprekke og eventuelt vil kunne springe av. Videre trenges det for på-smelting av isolasjonssjiktet relativt hoye temperaturer, hvilke temperaturer vanligvis ligger langt over bimetallelementets normale ar-beidsområde og derfor kan fore til en beskadigelse av dette element. Dertil kommer at både fremstillingen av et slikt bimetallelement så-vel som innstillingen av en noyaktig motstandsverdi for oppvarmings-folien er meget vanskelig.
Man har derfor sokt å unngå disse ulemper ved at oppvarmingslegemet er påfort en boyelig isolasjonsstoffstrimmel i form av et ledende sjikt, idet isolasjonsstoffstrimmelen er påklebet bimetallet.
På denne måte kan man på forhånd fremstille isolasjonssjiktet og oppvarmingslegemet og kan tilveiebringe en oppvarmingsmotstand med noyaktig definerte egenskaper ved utskjæring av vilkårlig store og vilkårlig tilformede flateavsnitt. Som folge av påklebingen unn-gås enhver temperaturpåkjenning av bimetallelementet ved fremstillingen. Som isolasjonsstoff kan benyttes vilkårlige boyelige materi-aler som er istand til å folge bimetallelementets bevegelser.
Oppfinnelsen vedrorer et slikt bimetallelement og tar sikte på å sikre at mest mulig av varmen når frem til bimetallet.
Ifolge oppfinnelsen er det derfor på det ledende sjikt, eventuelt med et mellomlagt ytterligere isolasjonssjikt, lagt et re-fleks jonsbelegg . Dette, f. eks. av et ikke i oppvarmingingsstrom-r kretsen medtatt solvlag bestående refleksjonsbelegg, sSrger for at det ledende sjikt stråler lite varme utad, slik at varmen mest mulig kommer frem til bimetallelementet.
Oppfinnelsen skal forklares nærmere under henvisning til tegningen som viser et foretrukket utforelseseksempel i skjematisk tverrsnitt.
Bimetallelementet består på vanlig måte av to metallstrim-ler 1 og 2 hvis stoffer har forskjellige varmeutvidelseskoeffisien-ter. En isolasjonsstoffstrimmel 3 &v polytetrafluoretyleri er på den ene side forsynt med et ledende sjikt 4 og på den andre side forsynt med et klebestoffsjikt 5. Klebestoffet består av epoksyharpiks. Det ledende sjikt består av en blanding av epoksyharpiks og kolloidgrafitt, Sjiktkombinasjonen 3 - 5 er skåret ut av en storre prefabrikert flate eller er utstanset og er deretter klebet på bimetallelementet i, 2.
For dimensjonering av motstandsverdien til det ledende
sjikt 4- finnes det flere muligheter. Man kan variere tykkelsen til sjiktet. Man kan velge forskjellige bredder og lengder av sjiktet. Man kan variere blandingsforholdet mellom sjiktbestanddelene (klebestoff - kolloidgrafitt). Man kan anordne de to tilknytningsledere i enhver onsket avstand fra hverandre, og man kan korte den virksomme lengden til sjiktet.
På det ledende sjikt 4 er det anordnet et ytterligere iso-las jonssjikt 8, f. eks. polytetrafluoretylen, og over dette isolasjonssjikt er det lagt et refleksjonssjikt 9» f* eks. et solvbelegg, som reflekterer den av sjiktet 4 frembragte varme.
Selvfølgelig kan det ledende sjikt også være oppbygget på annen måte, f. eks. kan det bestå av et metall eller et ledende me-talloksyd. De beste resultater med hensyn til nøyaktigheten til motstandsverdien og med hensyn til den nodvendige boyelighet har man imidlertid oppnådd med den nevnte blanding av klebestoff og kolloid-graf itt eller kullpartikler.

  1. Bimetallelement med et oppvarmingslegeme i form av et ledende sjikt som er lagt på en boyelig isolasjonsstrimmel klebet på bimetallet, karakter i" sert ved at det på det ledende sjikt (4), eventuelt med et mellomlegg i form av et ytterligere iso-las jonss jikt (8) er lagt et refleksjonsbelegg (9).
