The present invention relates to a

It is the purpose of the invention to provide

Increased load on the leg will give an increased locking effect, because the hook 7 will then be pressed harder into the groove 6. The mutual inclination of the legs is determined by the angle between the flanges 1 A, thereby achieving an easy adaptation to the type of furniture. As shown in fig. 1, the holder can also be equipped with a third flange 1 C, e.g. with hole 5 for fastening screws. This design is adapted to the camping table according to patent no. 89 557, where the holder then also serves to connect the suitcase frame. The most appropriate material for the legs is pipe, but the fastening device can also be used for legs made of wood.

Pivoting pair of legs for folding furniture, in particular camping tables, where the legs can swing independently of each other, characterized in that the legs (9) are individually attached to the sides of a fixing block consisting of a metal plate with bent converging flanges (1 A) which serve as fastening means , and that each leg is provided with a hook (7) which, in the leg's position of use, is intended to cooperate with a groove (6) in the flange to which the leg is attached and, by snap action, prevents the leg from swinging out of position unintentionally.
