Pneumatiske dekk for landbruks- og industritraktorer.
Description
Stabilisatorkombinasjon for vinylklorid-plast.
Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en synergistisk virkende stabiliseringskombina-sjon for vinylklorid-plast.
Det er fra tidligere kjent å anvende urea eller et alkylderivat av urea som sta-biliseringsmiddel for klorvinyl-polymere, og likeså estere av aminocrotonsyre.
Det er nu overraskende funnet at man
ved å tilsette vinylklorid-plast små mengder av urea eller et alkylderivat av urea samt av en alkylester av beta-aminocrotonsyre, fortrinsvis butyl- eller octylesteren, oppnår en stabilisatorkombinasjon som gir vinylklorid-plaster en meget høy-ere varmestabilitet enn når de nevnte stabiliseringsmidler anvendes separat i de samme mengder.
De foretrukne urea-forbindelser for stabilisatorkombinasjonen er urea og N,N-dimethylurea; foretrukne alkylestere av
beta-aminocrotonsyre er methylamino-crotonat, ethylaminocrotonat, isopropyl-amincrotonat, butylaminocrotonat, octyl-aminocrotonat og dodecylaminocrotonat.
Hver av komponentene i stabilisatorkombinasjonen kan tilsettes polymeren i en mengde av fra 0,02 pst. til 2 pst. bereg-net på den totale vekt av blandingen. Det foretrukne vektforhold mellom urea-delen og ester-delen er 2 : 1.
Stabilisatorkombinasjonen ifølge oppfinnelsen anvendes fortrinsvis på polyvi-nylklorid som er. fremstilt ved emulsjons-polymerisering av vinylklorid.
Stabilisatorkombinasjonen kan ytter-ligere inneholde vanlige additiver såsom myknere, smøremidler, midler til å gjøre plaster ugjennomsiktige, fyllstoffer, pig-menter og fargestoffer uten å forringe sta-biliseringsvirkningen av aminocrotonsyre - ester/urea-kombinasj onen.
Stabilisatorene kan tilsettes under om-røring til den allerede fremstilte polymer, eller de kan tilsettes under polymerise-ringen. Det er også mulig å blande dem i polymerisasjonslateksen såvel før som etter tørringen.
Som en illustrasjon av den høye sta-biliseringsvirkning av kombinasjonen iføl-ge oppfinnelsen sammenlignet med virk-ningen av komponentene anvendt hver for seg er resultatene av prøver på termisk stabilitet ved temperatur 175—180° C gjen-gitt i de nedenstående tabeller 1 og 2.
Claims (2)
1. Synergistisk virkende stabilisatorkombinasjon for vinylklorid-plast, karakterisert ved at den består av a) urea eller et alkylderivat av urea og b) en alkylester av beta-aminocro
tonsyre, fortrinsvis butyl- eller octylesteren.
2. Stabilisatorkombinasjon ifølge på-;and 1, karakterisert ved at vekt-)rholdet mellom urea-delen og ester-elen er 2 : 1.
