Foreliggende oppfinnelse går ut på en forenkling av driv- og koplingselementer i utvekslingsnav med eller uten bremse. Ved utvekslingsnav skjer driften i alminnelig-het på kjent måte ved hjelp av et driv-organ, i hvilket en medbringer er forskyv-bart anordnet. Medbringeren overtar kraft-overføringen fra drivorganet i alle utvekslingstrinn for drift og eventuelt bremsing, og kopler samtidig valgfritt de forskjellige drivelementer av disse utvekslingstrinn.
