Abstract

The floating buoy (10) has a conical main section below the water-line (14) and a spherical surface dome (43) above the water. Inside the buoy is a compartment (44) with air in the upper portion and in the dome (42) and water or other liquid in the lower portion. In the side of the buoy are two small ports, one (47) for air outlet and the other (48) for water inlet. Through the centre of the buoy is a vertical tube (12) surrounding a shut cable (28) which passes through a clamp assembly with rollers, both above and below the buoy (28U, 28L). At the top and bottom of the cable are eyelets (121, 11), the lower eyelet being coupled to a heavy anchor piece (120).
