Abstract

A bandage has a flat, moisture absorbent core with a thin, moisture resistant and permeable skin. The skin is in two sections one on each face of the core. The edges extend beyond the core and are welded or stuck together. The bandage is of a construction used in sanitary towels but which can be useful for covering wounds. It can be attached by adhesive on the protruding edges or by using plater sticking to the edges and the skin. Without the protruding edges it would be difficult to attach.
