Abstract

Adjustable shutter is for use with a ventilation duct and has a frame ring mounted on the duct wall and with a tapering inlet. A tapering valve body is adjustably coupled by a spindle to a support rigidly secured to the ring. The spindle (11) is adjustable by means of a spring locking device (13) mounted on the support (7), which can be a plate extending in the radial direction, and having an adjusting scale for the valve body. The support can also act as one of the mountings for the ring onto the duct wall, in conjuction with a spring support adjusted by a screw.
