Abstract

A latch rod (5) hinges on the ventilator frame (4) and also on an adjusting rod (7) regulating the amount for which the ventilator is opened. One or more guide rods (6) hinge onto the latch and/or adjusting rods, and at one end also onto the greenhouse roof (2). Where there are two latch rods converging in a V from the ventilator to the hinge point on the adjusting rod, the guide rods can likewise converge in a V to the same point. Latch and adjusting rods can be coupled by a hinge pin. The rod lengths and the hinge points can be so positioned that each guide rod runs vertically when the ventilator is half open.
