Abstract

A pipe from the barrel is connected to the tap itself, and the pipe (3) is divided into a branch connected via a solenoid valve (5) to the pipe leading (7) to the barrel (1), and one connected via a further such valve (6) to a pipe (8) connected to the water mains (11). Close to the tap (2) is a selector switch (14) by which one of the valves is opened at a time. There can be a further switch (14) close to the pipe leading to the barrel, allowing the water valve to be opned at the same time as the one in the barrel pipe. A pressure reducing valve (9) can be mounted in the connection to the water mains.
