Abstract

PURPOSE: To achieve smooth flow rate control when starting a pump, by controlling a by-pass valve provided in a by-pass pipe line with a flow rate buffer mechanism which imparts an opening signal by a differential pressure mechanism and based on the ON signal from a pump.
CONSTITUTION: A by-pass valve 11 interposed in a by-pass pipe line is controlled by a differential pressure control mechanism consisting of a pressure difference set-up device 12 and a pressure regulator 13 and a flow rate buffer mechanism consisting of electromagnetic valves 15 and 19, a high selector 16, a choking mechanism 20 and a pressure set-up device 18. When ON signal from a pump is received in the control system, a-c of the electromagnetic valve 15 and a-b of the electromagnetic valve 19 are opened, and the signals from the pressure set-up device 18 are issued forcibly during a timer is activated and the by-pass valve 11 opens by a prescribed angle. When the timer is turned off, a-b of the electromagnetic valve 15 and a-c of the electromagnetic valve 19 are opened, and a bias signal becomes gradually smaller by the choking mechanism 20. Therefore smooth flow rate control can be made during the start-up of the pump.
