Abstract

The system is for fitting in position a door frame with fanlight in a rectangular opening in a wall of masonry or prefabricated components between the ceiling and the floor. Two columns are separately fitted against the sides of the opening and thrust towards the ceiling, and an upper profiled section of metal or plastic to accommodate the pane edge, having flexible upper lips, is also pressed against the ceiling. The intermediate rail is attached to the columns so as to be adjustable vertically, and has a groove to accommodate the lower pane edge. The upper section is first supported on the columns, after which the latter are placed in position, and it is pressed against the ceiling. The intermediate rail is then temporarily positioned on the columns, and the fanlight pane placed against the grooves in the columns.
