Abstract

The framework, which could be made from metal or plastic sections, is intended to be used to space industrial joinery components with vertically or horizontally sliding members, the openings having fixed frames of variable thickness in a range of heavy and light duty sizes. The framework consists of an L-shaped base profile into which fits another profile to produce a protective seal and the rabbet of the frame. The framework can ba adapted for a range of openings and it also incorporates fixing elements for fastening to the structure of the building.
