Abstract

The frame of a door or of a window is constructed from two types of metal sections of different colours. The first section (1) has a basic rectangular cross-section (11) with a flange (12) extending from one of the shorter sides of the rectangle and lying in the same plane as that side. The second section (2) which is of a different colour is basically flat with two parallel ribs (21) near one edge. These ribs (21) receive the side projection of the first section (11). This project-ion has notches on its side walls which' engage notches on the sides of the ribs (21) so that the two sections are fastened together with a snap action.
