Tube part having a socket end provided with a groove chamber forming at least one projection on the socket and is produced by (a) injection moulding an initial tube part with a cylindrical end in a mould with a core, (b) removing a support from the inside of the cylindrical end next to the first upstanding wall of the tube part to form a new support (b) filling a space situated directly next to the first upstanding wall and under the cylindrical end with a removable gaseous or liq. medium, (c) inwardly pressing the cylindrical end to form another upstanding wall, (d) cooling, (e) removing the gaseous or liq. medium, (f) removing the core from the tube part, and (g) removing the tube part from the mould. Method enables a tube part with a groove contg. seal devices to be produced without the necessity for removing the tube part form the mould, thus avoiding heat losses during transfer of the tube part.
