Abstract

The valve is of the type comprising a housing (1) with a central flow duct containing an axially adjustable tapered needle (4). In the region of the extremity of the needle, the housing is provided with a conical needle chamber in which an externally conical bush (2) fits, the small end of the cone pointing in the direction of the needle. A pressure element (3) is provided which is capable of exerting an axial pressure on the large end of the bush, thereby reducing the diameter of its central core. The pressure element may be screwed in the valve housing and may be securable by means of a lock unit.
