Abstract

The endless belt transport device is for pick-up of field crops such as spinach, kale, etc., and consists of an endless belt (1) in conjunction with a second guide belt (4). The latter is controlled by a hinged arm (2) bearing guide rollers (3, 5) at either end. At the other end is guide roller (11) on an arm linkage to the driving roller (7). The inner guide rollers are mounted on support blocks (8, 9). The tensions in the belts are adjusted by adjustments of pressure loads at the sides of the belts. Downwards pressure is applied to guide and reversal rollers to control supply belt tension.
