Abstract

The box is constructed from an oblong blank of foldable material with side and end walls (2, 3) and a flat rectangular base, corners being formed by a tucked-in flap which has a diagonal fold and in the fully assembled condition has both parts of the folded corner pressed against the end wall. Two small slits are made at the sides of each of two small tabs which pull inwards across the top of the corner to retain the stiffening flap in position. There is also a small semi-circular cut-out in the outer top edge of the end wall.
