Plastic bag with a block-shaped bottom has >=1 essentially continuous cross weld extending in the bottom from the first fold-line of a corner flap to the second fold-line of the same corner flap to connect the two overlapping bottom flaps with all the underlying film layers of the corner flap, the first and second fold-lines of the corner flap extending next to the bottom flap fold-lines. Provides reliable, moisture-proof sealing.
