Abstract

1525397 Valve bags WAVIN BV 27 Oct 1975 [30 Oct 1974] 44199/75 Heading B8K [Also in Division B5] A valve bag which may be one of a plurality of interconnected bags, comprises an outfolded side gusset portion 5<SP>1</SP>, 6<SP>1</SP> and a valve tube 11 which is sealed to said gusset portion and the remainder of the bag body. The interconnected bags are formed from a continuous, web of flattened tubular plastics film and are connected to one another by perforations extending between and parallel to top and bottom seals of adjacent bags. The perforations may be provided in both layers of the tubular film or in only one of the layers, the other layer being cut through continuously.
