WHEN THE KNEES 23A WHICH MOVE FORWARD ARE BROUGHT INTO COLLISION WITH THE KNEE PROTECTOR 26, THE STAY 30 IS PLASTICALLY DEFORMED SO AS TO CAUSE THE KNEE PROTECTOR 26 TO MOVE TOWARD THE STEERING COLUMN 15.
