DISCLOSED IS A CERAMIC COMPOSITION FOR ARTIFICIAL REEFS, INCLUDING 5-30 WT% OF HWANGTO,5-20 WT% OF BURNED HWANG-TO, 5-30 WT% OF CLAY, 40-60 WT% OF CHAMOTTE, 1-10 WT% OF AGALMATOLITE AND POTTERY STONE, AND 1-10 WT% OF SHELL POWDER OF SHELLFISH, WHICH IS ADVANTAGEOUS IN TERMS OF IMPROVED FISH-GATHERING EFFECTS BY USING ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY MATERIALS, AND NO MATERIAL SEPARATION ATTRIBUTED TO HIGH STRENGTH AND DENSITY, EASY ATTACHMENT OF AQUATIC SPECIES DUE TO FINE POROUS SURFACES, AND ADSORPTION OF CONTAMINANTS DISSOLVED IN SEAWATER, THEREBY INCREASING THE QUALITY OF SEAWATER.IN ADDITION, A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE CERAMIC COMPOSITION IS PROVIDED,INCLUDING MIXING WATER WITH A COMPOSITION HAVING 5-30 WT% OF HWANG-TO, 5-20 WT% OF BURNED HWANG-TO, 5-30 WT% OF CLAY, 40-60 WT% OF CHAMOTTE, 110 WT% OF AGALMATOLITE AND POTTERY STONE,AND 1-10 WT% OF SHELL POWDER OF SHELLFISH, WITH STIRRING, DRY MOLDING THE STIRRED COMPOSITION IN A STATE OF HAVING 2-6% WATER TO HAVE A PREDETERMINED SHAPE, NATURALLY DRYING THE MOLDED COMPOSITION FOR 2-3 DAYS, FOLLOWED BY A FORCIBLE DRYING PROCESS AT 40-140?C, AND BURNING THE DRIED COMPOSITION AT 1200-1300?C.
