Abstract

Durante una operacion normal de un motor de camion (12), un oxidante parcial catalitico (30) proporciona syngas (hidrogeno y monoxido de carbono) para regenerar trampas de NOx (35), por breves periodos de tiempo, o se desvia (33) a la entrada (13) de un motor (12) via el sistema EGR (43-46). Algo de hidrogeno es extraido del syngas por un separador de membrana de paladio (63) y pasa a la entrada de combustible (52) de una pila de celda de combustible (51).
