Abstract

Esta invencion esta dirigida a un proceso para producir materiales solidos generalmente particulados dilatables en agua que comprenden polimeros recubiertos, preferentemente polimeros formadores de hidrogel, dilatables en agua que estan recubiertos con un agente de recubrimiento que es tal que practicamente no se rompe cuando los polimeros se dilatan en un liquido, por ejemplo, agua o solucion salina. A este respecto, el agente de recubrimiento es extensible en estado humedo y comprende ademas un material extensible en humedo que tiene un alargamiento en humedo de por lo menos 400 % o incluso con mayor preferencia de por lo menos 500 % y, preferentemente, un esfuerzo por tension en el punto de ruptura en el estado humedo de por lo menos 1MPa. Normalmente, el agente de recubrimiento comprende tambien un material polimerico elastomerico. La invencion tambien se refiere a materiales solidos (particulados) dilatables en agua que se obtienen mediante el proceso de la invencion.
