La invencion tiene por objeto una pieza moldeada de alta resistencia mecanica en caliente y de alta resistencia a la fluencia en el intervalo de temperatura 230-380 ??C, cuya aleacion de aluminio tiene la composicion (% en peso): Mg: < 0.1 y preferentemente < 0.3 Si: 4.5 - 10 Cu: 2.0 - 5.0 preferentemente 3.0 - 4.0 Ni: < 0.4 " " < 0.1 Ti: 0.03 - 0.25 " " 0.08 - 0.20 Zr: 0.05 - 0.25 " " 0.12 - 0.20 Fe: < 0.9 y preferentemente < 0.3 Zn < 0.3 " " < 0.1 eventualmente V: 0.02 - 0.30 preferentemente 0.04 - 0.20 Mn: 0.1 - 0.5 preferentemente 0.15 - 0.40 Hf, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo y/o W: 0.03 - 0.30 otros elementos < 0.10 cada uno y z 0.30 en total, balance aluminio. La invencion se refiere mas particularmente a las culasas se motores de combustion interna.
