Abstract
Los edificios de gran extension que no comprenden vigas ni columnas regulares se forman a partir de paneles de pared compuestos que soportan cargas y de pisos compuestos, comprendiendo ambos dos capas de concreto interconectadas por medio de tramas de tiras de acero. El plano horizontal rigido formado de unidades de techo/cielo raso ensamblados, soportadas por paneles de pared, conectados a ambos pinones restringe el movimiento transversal de las partes superiores unidas a los paneles de pared dispuestos longitudinalmente, arriostrandolos simultaneamente contra el deslizamiento lateral y reduciendo sus longitudes de pandeo. Los pisos, si se aplica alguno, estan rigidamente conectados a los paneles verticales mejorando adicionalmente la estabilidad de la estructura global. Los paneles de pared y pisos compuestos de la presente invencion estan adaptados para el mismo proposito. La estructura global, la cual es arrostrada en esta forma, se comporta como una caja rigida hecha de paneles delgados.
