Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un sistema catalizador con soporte. El catalizador con soporte de la presente invencion consiste en un soporte inorganico que tiene unidos a por lo menos una superficie de este grupos R10 organicos que contienen hidroxilo, hidrofilicos, no acidos que no tienen o practicamente no tienen carga en solucion, y por lo menos un ligador capaz de unir una especie catalitica, por ejemplo una enzima o una molecula organometalica, en donde el ligador se une a una especie catalitica. Los grupos R10 de preferencia se eligen del grupo que consiste en: grupo -CH2-OH, -CH(OH)2, -CH(OH)CH3, -CH2CH2OH, -CH(OH)2CH3, -CH2CH(OH)2, -CH(OH)CH2(OH), y mezclas de estos. La presencia de los grupos R10 en la superficie del soporte evita o reduce la union no especifica de la especie catalitica con la superficie del soporte llevando al minimo interacciones hidrofobicas y proporcionando ninguna o practicamente ninguna carga superficial en la zona de soporte que tiene las especies cataliticas unidas a este. Al mismo tiempo, el ligador une las especies cataliticas a la superficie del soporte en una forma que permite a las especies cataliticas estar disponibles libremente para la actividad catalitica. Tambien se describen los metodos para catalizar una reaccion utilizando el sistema catalizador con soporte de la invencion.
