Abstract

Un aparato y metodo para filtrar un liquido utiliza un aparato de filtro que incluye un filtro de derivacion, un filtro de flujo total, y un elemento de equilibrio de flujo para dividir un flujo de fluido de entrada total al aparato de filtro en una porcion de derivacion, que pasa a traves del filtro de derivacion y una porcion de flujo total que pasa a traves del filtro de flujo total. El filtro de derivacion tiene una eficiencia de filtracion mas baja que el elemento de filtracion de flujo total, de modo que no se requiere un tubo venturi para provocar que la porcion de derivacion pase a traves del filtro de derivacion. El elemento de equilibrio de flujo divide el flujo en la porcion de derivacion deseada y la porcion de flujo total deseada, a una temperatura de operacion predeterminada.
