Abstract

La presente invencion describe compuestos de la formula (R5)m-(R6A)-2-(R4)-1-[N=C(R1)N(R2)(R3)]benceno y sus sales adecuadas agricolamente, las cuales son utiles como fungicidas, en donde R1 es H, OH, SH; SO3H, CN, -OR7 o -SR7; alquilo de C1-C10, alquenilo de C2C10, alcoxicarbonilo de C2C10, alquinilo de C2-C10, un carbociclo de C3-C10 o un heterociclo de 3, 4, 5 o 6 elementos, cada uno substituido opcionalmente; siempre que cuando R1 sea un heterociclo que contiene nitrogeno como un elemento del anillo, el mismo no este fijado al resto de la Formula I a traves del elemento del anillo de nitrogeno; R6 es alquilo de C5-C21, alquenilo de C5-C21, alquinilo de C5-C21, alcoxicarbonilo de C4-C9, alquilaminocarbonilo de C4-C6, dialquilaminocarbonilo de C3-C10 o trialquilsililo de C3-C12, cada uno opcionalmente substituido; o R6 es alquilo de C1-C4 o alquilcarbonilo de C2-C9, cada uno substituido con uno o mas de R12; A es un enlace directo, O, S(O)n o NR10; n es 0, 1 o 2; m es 0, 1 2 o 3; y R2, R3, R4, R5, R7, R10 y R12 son como se definieron en la descripcion. Tambien se describen composiciones que contienen los compuestos de la formula (R5)m-(R6A)-2-(R4)-1-[N=C(R1)N(R2)(R3)]benceno y un metodo para controlar las enfermedades de las plantas provocadas por patogenos fungosos de las plantas, que involucra aplicar una cantidad efectiva de un compuesto de la formula (R5)m-(R6A)-2-(R4)-1-[N=C(R1)N(R2)(R3)]benceno.
